Four Delicious Beverages That Take Coffee To The Next Level

About Me
Communicating Effectively With Your Food Supplier

A few months ago, I realized that our restaurant orders were getting messed up at least once a month. It was frustrating, but after a little careful analysis, I realized that the issue was my fault, not the representative who handled our food supplier account. I started thinking about where and when I was placing orders, and it occurred to me that I was almost always in a hurry and trying to get things ordered quickly. To correct the issue, I started slowing down, double checking my food orders, and asking the supplier to repeat information back to me. Overnight, issues with my food orders went away. Check out this blog to learn how to communicate effectively with your food supplier.

If you love coffee, then you're sure to love these delicious, indulgent coffee recipes. Whether you're craving something hot or cold, read on to discover the perfect drink.

Coffee Float

Reminiscent of the root beer float, this drink brings together iced coffee and ice cream for a dessert-like indulgence.

Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee. Pour it over plenty of ice, and stir for one minute or until the coffee is cool. Strain out the remaining ice, and transfer the coffee to a tall glass. Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and enjoy.

For an adult treat, try stirring in a shot of Irish cream liqueur!

Blended Coffee Shakes

When you can't decide between a smoothie and a cup of coffee in the morning, this recipe offers the perfect compromise.

Ingredients (for one drink):

  • 4 ounces strongly brewed coffee, cooled to room temperature
  • 4 large ice cubes (or 1/2 cup crushed ice)
  • 2 ounces milk
  • 1 generous scoop ice cream of your choice (Vanilla and chocolate work well, but feel free to be creative!)
  • 2 tablespoons of your favorite coffee creamer
  • Chocolate shavings (as garnish, optional)

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour your coffee beverage into a tall glass, top with the chocolate shavings, and enjoy through a straw.
